Welcome to the Chef Rü At Home menu.
At Home with Chef Rü – How it works
Chef Rü At Home is an advance-order service, allowing me to prepare each week’s food freshly for the customers who have ordered. The menu opens every Sunday and closes on Wednesday evening. Once orders have closed, I source fresh ingredients for the week’s menu on Thursday and prepare your dishes freshly in my kitchen. On Saturday morning, the food is carefully cooked and blast chilled to preserve its freshness, flavour and quality, ready for delivery or collection that afternoon.
Choose your dishes from our Starters, Mains, and Breads, Rice & Accompaniments, add them to your basket and proceed to checkout, where you can select either delivery or collection.
Free delivery is available on orders over £50 within selected delivery areas.
Deliveries are available within specific geographic areas and are subject to availability. If a delivery option is not shown at checkout, either all available delivery slots have been booked or we are not currently delivering to your area. You can still choose to collect your order in person from BD14. Full collection details will be provided by email once your order has been received.
Channa Masala Bombs
Three crispy puffed pasty shell filled with savoury spiced masala chickpeas, then filled right before eating with a tangy, spicy blend of tamarind-mint water.
Charred Masala Corn Ribs
Eight sweetcorn mini-ribs roasted until lightly charred, coated in chilli-lime masala butter and finished with chaat masala and fresh coriander. (Plant-based butter available on request. Please add this to your order notes).
Chef Rü’s Aloo Tikki Chaat
One of my signature dishes, as seen on BBC MasterChef. Three crisp spiced potato tikki's topped with chickpeas, cooling yoghurt, tamarind and mint chutneys, finished with chaat masala and fresh coriander.
Chicken Tikka Sizzler
Two tender chicken kebabs marinated in yoghurt, ginger, garlic and tikka spices, charred and served with sizzling onions and peppers.
Crispy Rainbow Bhajis
Three colourful, crisp vegetable bhajis made with onion, carrot and seasonal vegetables, gently spiced and fried until golden.
Lamb Seekh Kebab Sizzler
Two juicy lamb seekh kebabs seasoned with ginger, garlic, chilli and aromatic Indian spices, served with sizzling onions and peppers.
Vegetable Samosa
Two crisp pastry parcels filled with warmly spiced potato and peas.
Aloo Gobi
A homestyle North Indian curry of potato and cauliflower cooked with tomato, ginger, cumin and fragrant spices.
Chef Ru's Channa Dal
One of my signature dishes, as seen on BBC MasterChef 2022. A comforting Punjabi-style yellow lentil dal, slowly cooked with tomato, ginger, garlic and warming spices, finished with a fragrant cumin tempering.
Chicken Madras
Tender pieces of chicken cooked in a rich tomato and onion sauce with chilli, garlic and aromatic spices for a deep, warming heat.
Indo-Chinese Chilli Paneer
Crisp paneer tossed with peppers and red onion in a sticky, sweet, tangy and spicy Indo-Chinese chilli glaze.
Jackfruit Biryani
Fragrant basmati rice layered with saffron and mint infused jackfruit, caramelised onions and aromatic biryani spices, slowly cooked for a rich, fragrant finish.
Mattar Paneer
Soft paneer and sweet garden peas simmered in a rich tomato and onion masala with aromatic spices.
Punjabi Chole
Tender chickpeas slow-cooked in a rich tomato, ginger and onion masala with roasted cumin and warming Punjabi spices.
Saag Aloo
Tender potatoes cooked gently together with spiced spinach, ginger, garlic and warming Indian spices.
Tandoori Roasted Cauliflower Makhani
Tandoori-spiced roasted cauliflower served in a silky tomato makhani sauce scented with cardamom and finished with fresh coriander.
Bhatura
Three soft and fluffy Indian fried yoghurt breads.
Chef Rü’s Masala Fries
Crispy fries tossed in Chef Rü’s house masala with chilli, tangy amchur and fresh coriander.
Four-Chutney Tray
A selection of four house chutneys and dips, bringing together sweet, tangy, cooling and spicy flavours.
Garlic & Coriander Naan
Two soft naan breads topped with garlic, coriander and a light brushing of butter.
Kachumber Salad
A fresh Indian salad of cucumber, tomato and red onion with coriander, lemon and a light sprinkle of chaat masala.
Peshwari Naan
Two soft naan breads filled with a sweet blend of coconut, fruit and warming spices.
Pilau Rice
Fluffy basmati rice fragrantly seasoned with toasted cumin seeds.
Pomegranate Raita
Cooling seasoned yoghurt with juicy pomegranate, fresh herbs and a gentle touch of roasted cumin.
